Due to the storm, our office will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 28th. We anticipate also being closed on Thursday, Sept. 29th, but will post it once that decision is made.
VARICOSE VEIN treatments include Endovenous laser ablation (EVLA). Laser energy is used to target and seal problem veins, reducing and eliminating pain from varicosities. In some instances, a mini-phlebectomy is also needed. In other cases we inject a foam (Varithena) which causes the defective vein to close. In all cases, blood flow is rerouted to other healthy veins.
With these procedures, there is little to no downtime - most people return to their regular routine the same or next day.
